SOUP AND SANDWICH MONDAYS

This was our first organised activity in association with the Let’s Get Together fund, we launched our Soup and Sandwich Mondays to offer a warm and friendly place for locals to meet and socialise as a “WarmSpace”. This has been a great success with a number of our Trustees and volunteers helping to run this event. It was well attended by both young and old from our community.

The event used to be held in the Balfour Centre at 12.30 on a Monday but is now held at William Simpsons Care Home. There is a soup and sandwich lunch, tea / coffee and entertainment followed by a short Bingo session. 

Family Meal Night

Thanks to a grant from the ‘Community Health and Wellbeing Fund’ provided by Stirling Council, Plean’s Voice were able to host a Family Dinner Night which encouraged people from the village to come down to the Balfour Centre and socialise while enjoying a hot meal.
